I want to furnish/redesign my room as i will be getting married soon? by Quora

Answer by Heather Robins:

Before you do anything else, talk to your future spouse. Assuming you will be sharing this room (hey, some couples sleep in different rooms – whatever works for you!), your spouse’s input will be critical. Even when people say they “don’t care” what a room looks like, in the end they really do. It’s hard to relax at the end of a hard day in a room you’re not comfortable in!

The two of you should sit down and talk about the kind of style you want in your room. Luckily, we live in an age where bedroom decor ideas are just a click away! I’ve gathered a few different design ideas. Take a look at these and see if there’s any you like:

Even if you both don’t like the same style, you can mix elements from both. That way there are aspects that each of you like.

Since you don’t have a bed, I think that’s the best place to start after you’ve done a little stlye research with your other half. Once you have a bed, bedding should come next. The color scheme of your room will likely be determined by the bedding you choose. After that, it’s all about finding the right accents for your space.

I hope that helps! If you’re still in need of some inspiration, try looking at these blogs:
